About Going Green
Green habits for Green benefits
At DAC, we are on a mission to become green, environmentally-friendly, and sustainably integrated with our local community. We have a genuine focus on sustainability results, enhanced efficiency and are participating in the global effort to reduce our carbon footprint:
- DAC has installed 30kW of Solar Panels to our state of the art production facility in Lancashire. Our products are manufactured using 100% renewably supplied electricity
- By 2025, we plan to cut our carbon emissions by a further 50%
- And by 2030 our aim is to become carbon neutral.
LED bulbs and intelligent lighting systems.
Encourage the workforce to turn off lights and equipment when not in use.
Installing 30kW solar panels to our UK production facility.
Community
DAC participates in several local projects to support and positively integrate with our local community. We sponsor our local football team, Wilpshire Wanderers and donate Union Mill for Sabdens annual community christmas market
Union Mill: DAC has renovated a historic monument in the heart of the Ribble Valley, amongst the rolling hills of Pendle. Once a Cotton MIll, it is now home to DAC and other local businesses.
